Post ACL Reconstruction Workout Vibes

SHOP THIS ALO YOGA LOOK

As I write this, I'm 8 weeks post-op from my ACL reconstruction surgery and feeling better than ever. I've been consistently doing physical therapy since my procedure and finally feel confident enough to workout on my own again.

Prior to becoming a 500 E-RYT I was solely a Beachbody Coach, now a BODi partner. However, much has changed since 2013 including Beachbody's name, now referred to as BODi, the company has gone completely digital and has thousands of workouts on its platform.

The program I chose to reboot my workout vibe is Amoila Caesar's new collection Chop Wood Carry Water. I decided to start with this program, because Amoila mixes functional strength and agility training with primal movements. The goal of the program is to help you master functional movements to improve your mobility and strength. There are 20 workouts in the collection and you can complete them on a 4 to 5 week calendar schedule. If you choose to workout 4 days a week you will complete the program in 5 weeks. Likewise, if you choose to workout 5 to 6 days a week you will complete the program in 4 weeks.

I choose the 5 day a week schedule and am currently wrapping up week one. What I love most about this program is the variety of movements and pacing of everything overall. It is keeping me engaged and mentally present while working muscle groups that have been stagnant in my body for awhile. I'm already a huge fan of Amoila and BODi, but this might be one of my favorite collections to date. I'll keep you all posted on my progress and let you know how much strength, mobility, and endurance I build throughout the process.

If you're interested in joining me in the program drop a note below or shoot me an email at info@christajaninefit.com .
